RandoEvasion Pictograms

All activities (Hiking, Walks, Walks, Trekking or other) organized by RandoEvasion are carried out by a Certified Guide. These hikes are evaluated on the basis of Objective and Tangible Criteria which allow participants to get a clear idea of ​​what they are committing to.

These hikes are evaluated on the basis of a « Visual » Pictogramme in the form of « Boots » (© RandoEvasion), as well as a « Clear Text ».  These activities are equally balanced throughout the day. As long as participants do not overestimate their abilities, these hikes are accessible to everyone.

Please note that depending on the season, you will have to consider that you can move in all types of terrain: snowy or icy in winter, muddy to extremely muddy in spring, wild vegetation in summer (brambles, nettles, etc.).

Information on the cumulative elevations of the hikes. In general, the value of the level difference determines the level of the course which is:

 

      from Easy to Normal  from 50 to 250m
      from Normal to Medium  from 250 to 600m
      from Medium to Semi-Sportive         from 450 to 850m
      from Semi-Sporve to Sportive     from 850m and more   


Coating Type


Coating Type


Information on the type of cover borrowed during the hike. The evaluation criteria are expressed as a percentage for the following elements:

Trails, paths, logging roads (hard or not), country roads (hard or not), roads of reparcelling, road, forest roads, ...



Average Speed


Progression Speed (Average)


Information about the average rate of progress at which the guide will run the hike during the day. In general, these average speeds are of the level:

      from Easy to Normal   from 2.5 to 3.0km/h
      from Normal to Medium   from 3.0 to 3.5km/h
      from Medium to Semi-Sportive         from 3.5 to 4.5km/h
      from Semi-Sportive to Sportive      starting at 4.0km/h   


Note that the average speed includes breaks and the noon picnic.


Difficulty Levels

 

Easy Hikes, accessible to all. These hikes have no major difficulty and are aimed at all young or not so young.

 

 

Normal to Medium Hikes, accessible to anyone who is able to walk a few times a year and who can perform 10km without tiring abnormally.

 

 

Medium to Semi-Sportive Hikes, accessible to anyone who walks a few times a quarter and who can walk 5 to 6 hours without tiring.

 

Semi-Sportive Hiking, accessible to anyone who walks regularly, at least once a month and who can walk 6 to 7 hours without suffering.

 

Sportive and / or Difficult hiking, reserved for a "sporty" and discerning public. Not recommended for anyone who does not have a regular and fast walking level.
